Stella & The Fridge
Whether you prefer “dystopian pop for wholesome hearts” (self-description) or “angry FINTA power pop” (as others call it) is up to you: Stella & The Fridge is both angry and soft at the same time. The multi-instrumentalist moves effortlessly between playful metaphors, feminist sharpness, and honest vulnerability. With omnichord, piano, accordion, and beats, Stella & The Fridge sings songs in Swiss German and Italian.
After a standout performance at the Winterthurer Musikfestwochen and listeners of her debut single “schwümme” in over 15 countries, she will release her first EP, “dene wos guet geit,” on May 8, 2026 (self-published). “dene wos guet geit” is inspired by the abysses of humanity, with all its contradictions and absurdities.
Stella & The Fridge is the solo project of musician Rosanna Zünd.
