Baffo D'Oro
Baffo d'Oro have been making a mixture of garage and post-punk and a wide range of indie sounds since 2020.
Rooted in the raw spirit of The Stooges, Joy Division, and Gang of Four, and echoing the riotous energy of modern acts like Idles, The Chats, and Viagra Boys, Baffo d’Oro deliver a nostalgic and fiercely contemporary sound. Gritty guitars, pounding basslines, and intense rhythms collide with lyrics that explore the absurdities of modern life, always with a wink and a sneer.
They released several singles since 2022. And in spring 2025 their first EP "This is it" was released. The songs were recorded and released independently with a DIY ethos. They were mixed and mastered at Influx Studio in Bern.
The band regularly gets airplay on indie- and public radio stations in Switzerland, Europa and South America.
Started out playing in underground and DIY-Scene, Baffo d'Oro are now being booked more frequently whether at small festivals or as opening act in better known clubs and venues. Check the Tour page for upcoming shows.
