Monica P
Monica P is an alternative rock singer-songwriter who blends her cosmopolitan soul with Italian songwriting. In 2010, she released her debut album A volte capita, and in 2011 her song Libera was featured in the compilation Female Do It Better, alongside major international artists. That year, she won the MEI Super Sound Award, and in 2012, MEI selected Libera again for L’onda rosa indipendente. In 2014, she released Tutto brucia, an album with top collaborations (Sacri Cuori, JD Foster, Giovanni Ferrario, Vicki Brown), including a duet with Hugo Race on Come un cane. In 2017, she released Rosso che non vedi, a journey of personal exploration and social critique. In 2018, she won the Nuovo IMAIE Award at the Bertoli Prize, and in 2019, she toured Italy with Indivenire Tour. Selected by Club Tenco, she performed at Il Tenco Ascolta 2021. In 2022, she released Appunti per restare sana, intimate EP. Currently working on a new album, she keeps performing live.
