Quartier Chat is an independent rock band from the suburbs of Bordeaux, formed in 2021 by childhood friends Andjy, Tony, Luca, and Thomas, later joined by Ben and Aurélien. Blending sincerity and energy, their style — which they call “Brit Rock in French” — challenges expectations, proving that the suburbs can rock just as hard as the city. Influenced by artists like Oasis, Téléphone, Gainsbourg, and MC Solaar, they bring humor, emotion, and authenticity to their music. After six singles, music videos, and a run of concerts (including The Voice), their debut album Quartier Chat was released on May 17, 2024 — a vibrant, personal project inspired by their youth and friendship.
