Francesco D’Urso is a versatile musician, active both as an orchestral musician and as principal trombone of the Geneva Chamber Orchestra since October 2016, as well as in chamber music, creating performances and collaborating with other artistic disciplines, notably in a duo with harp and duo with organ, and the MOYA Trombones quartet where he was a founding member between 2005 and 2019. He is a trombone teacher at the Geneva Conservatory of Music as well as at the Multisite School of Music (Switzerland). He has been involved in numerous collaborations in various European countries as a soloist and teacher of advanced masterclasses. Francesco D’Urso is a Vincent Bach artist and ambassador for René Hagmann® systems. He has produced three albums, Stella (2015), Paradise Bone (2021) and Sueño el Sur (2023).
