Formed in 2020 and led by Alex Gomez (guitar, machines), singer Orey, bassist Rémy Peyrot des Gachons and keyboardist Fred Chauvin, Lorsay is an electro pop group established between Paris and the south of France. Mixing electro post rock and melancholic pop, their musical style combines melodies combining acoustic instruments and electronic machines.
In February 2020, Lorsay publishes a first self-produced EP “dead melodies for the nobodies” around 7 entirely musical tracks.
The group decides to push the adventure further by opening its microphone to voices from all walks of life to enrich their musical universe, such as the Israeli jazz singer Avigail Danino, the Texan rapper Sam Jacob, or the English metal singer Dan Picknell. . Their second self-produced EP "back and fourth from winterland" will be released in August 2021 with a visual universe produced by portrait photographer Samuel Kirszenbaum.
The group is performing in 2022 as part of the Printemps de Bourges in 2022.
Their third EP "spring fever" will be released in March 2023.
