Marco Misciagna is an Italian violist, violinist, pedagogue and composer. For years he has been soloist of the Spanish String Orchestra of Màlaga and has been a guest of the major halls and international institutions in Europe and America. He is viola professor at "N.Rota" State Conservatory and Honorary Professor of the Institut Supérieur de Musique of Sousse, the "Esteban Salas" Conservatory of Santiago de Cuba, the "Pettman National Junior Academy of Music" (New Zealand), the "Komitas" State Conservatory of Yerevan, the "S.Rachmaninov" State Conservatory of Tambov and the Far Eastern State Academy of Art in Vladivostok, as well as Honorary Citizen of the City of Ayvalik in Turkey. In 2018 he received the Gold Medal from the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for the commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Kiev Opera House and was awarded the Title of Visitante Distinguido by the City of Santiago de Cuba. He is a member of European Cultural Parliament.
