Gabriel Urgell Reyes
A Versailles-based, award-winning French-Cuban pianist, composer, artistic director, visual artist, and producer, he is renowned for his virtuoso performances and innovative transdisciplinary works.
A winner of numerous international awards (including Città di Marsala, UNEAC-SGAE, and Blüthner), he has received acclaim from specialized media, including a *Diapason d'Or* award.
In 2019, his album *Metaphor of Silence* was nominated at the 17th Independent Music Awards in New York in the "Eclectic Album" and "Music Producer" categories.
In 2021, he was named a Beaumarchais-SACD laureate composer and received a Certificate of Artistic Merit at the 5th, 7th, and 10th editions of the Luxembourg Art Prize for his visual art.
In 2024, he founded the ATA Project ensemble, bringing together twelve musicians specializing in contemporary aesthetics and mixed-media compositions that combine acoustic and electronic instruments.
