Child
The young Swiss artist Child is bluntly approachable, cheeky, and dreamy. With her second EP, “Human,” she delves deeper into the world of pop, exploring the tensions and ambivalences of being human while remaining true to her melancholic lightness. With a palette of smooth beats, comforting synths, and catchy vocals, Child takes you into a colorful yet thoughtful world.
In November 2021, Child released her debut EP, of which the second song, “Draw the Line”, was chosen by SRF3 radio as the “Song of the Day” and has been on the radio program ever since. In the meantime, she has been working on various collaborations with other artists and recording new songs with various producers.
Since Child had her record release in 2022 and was heard with a band for the first time, she has performed more often as a duo. A highlight in 2024 was the support act for Asgéir at Mühle Hunziken. Her most recent success came in July 2025 when “Something New” was chosen as the “All For One” pick by MX3 and was played by all four Swiss national radio stations.
