Internationally recognized as one of the leading guitar ensembles of today, the Salzburg Guitar Trio engages its audiences with their energetic presence and deeply emotional performances. They have performed extensively in music festivals and concert halls throughout Europe and North America, and were Artists in Residence at ‘La Pedrera’, Antoni Gaudi’s famous modernist building in Barcelona, Spain. 

The trio won first prizes at the ‘Ciutat d’Elx Guitar Festival’ in Spain, the ‘Corelli-Savarez Chamber Music Competition’ in Austria & ‘Valle dei Laghi Guitar Festival‘ in Italy. As First Prize winners of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America ‘International Ensemble Competition’, the Salzburg Guitar Trio was the first ever ensemble to be awarded a GFA Artist’s Tour. Their concert tour took them across North America in the Spring of 2023, where they also gave public masterclasses for guitar societies, universities & conservatories. 

Salzburg Guitar Trio is comprised of Katie Lonson (Canada), Eliška Lenhartová (Czechia) and Andrew Booth (England).
