Now based in Berlin, Annalea Dorothee grew up in a small village in Western Germany,  raised between farmland, forests, and the Dutch border. Enchanted by music from an early age, she developed a deep love for classical music and jazz through her home environment. Her journey began with opera productions such as Bizet’s Carmen and Massenet’s Werther, alongside vocal and acting training at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein during her childhood, experiences that helped her discover her voice early on.

Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and the people around her, Annalea Dorothee creates a safe space for those who tend to get lost in emotions. What started as minimalistic piano arrangements for her poetry has evolved into a rich blend of synths, pads, and classical instruments. Influenced by artists like London Grammar, Hooverphonic, and Birdy, she has developed a distinct cinematic sound shaped by the pulse and atmosphere of Berlin.
