Philipp Seidel received his first guitar lesson at the age of 7 at a music school in Hoyerswerda. Upon accomplishing his “Oberstufenabschluss” in his early music education, he began his bachelor's degree in classical guitar at Cottbus University (BTU) under guitarist Bernhard Dolch. Since then he has been able to discover a wonderful music journey and has as well adopted a stronger affinity with guitar. Apart from being a solo performer, he has also initiated chamber music projects with other great musicians.
Philipp Seidel is also the 1st Prize winner at the International Music Competition in Chieti, Italy at the Marrucino Theater in 2019, together with his flutist duo, Junyuan Tan.
