About
Plektron, born as Matthias Ben Dellsperger, is an electronic producer, guitarist and singer-songwriter. The house artist from Bern, Switzerland, has released two albums (Elevator Jam and Trilogy) as well as several EPs and singles on recordings and relevant music platforms since the beginning of his career. He is currently working with producer and sound engineer Lukas Walther, TTMC-Audiolager.
He has worked for many years in projects and bands such as Celtic Friday, M&S, Ottomotor, Deep Lakes in Funky Land, the 4Flames, Trouble with Harry, Circle and Input. He has been on stage with musicians such as Walter Schmocker, Martin Silfverberg, Martin Frutiger, Peter Fischer, Ivo Prato, Martin Dahanukar. He has also worked as a concert organizer, sound mixer and producer for other bands.
He studied jazz guitar at the Bern University of the Arts, graduating with a bachelor's degree. His teachers were Hal Crook, Jerry Bergonzi, Antonia Giordano, Ira Kriss, Marco Figini, Andy Hermann. He teaches classical guitar, electric guitar and electric bass.
