TANAH LUNA is the hypnotic Afro House project of Dutch–Moluccan artist Debbie Hulskamp (also known as producer Debster). Born and raised in the Netherlands with deep roots in the Moluccas and Indonesia, her music is an organic fusion of cultures, rhythms, and spiritual soundscapes that bridge continents and traditions.
Blending Afro House grooves with Balinese textures and Moluccan pulse, TANAH LUNA crafts warm, earthy tracks that feel both ancient and future-forward — music for dancing bodies, meditative moments, and sunset reveries alike.
TANAH LUNA’s sonic palette is also inspired by the cinematic depth and melodic journeying of Pat Metheny’s "Travels" — the Grammy-winning jazz-fusion live album celebrated for its rich textures, narrative flow, and rhythmic sophistication — a touchstone for her own approach to crafting expansive, emotive electronic music that speaks to both heart and feet.
Under her artist name TANAH LUNA, Debbie brings decades of experience as a producer, topliner, composer, singer, and songwriter to a fresh artistic vision.
