La Valise
La Valise is a female ethnofolk song and acoustic music duo based in Belgium. The group was created in 2018 by Marie Zinnen (violin, vocals) and Fanny Vadjaraganian (accordion, vocals), two lovers of languages and world music. Their repertoire grew as they met, mixing personal compositions with traditional songs. French-speaking, they sing in Bulgarian, Swedish, Macedonian, Roma, Spanish, English, Russian, Turkish, not to mention Walloon! They have fun playing with polyphonies, accompany themselves with their instruments or body percussions. After a first eponymous album in 2019 and ‘Train de Nuit’ in 2021, the band releases its third album ‘Inside’ in 2025.
