Vanessa Jay Mulder is a Surinamese-born Dutch R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop artist, currently based in Italy, whose voice has shared stages with Zucchero, Raf, Lauryn Hill, Rita Marley, and Henry Padovani, and been heard at Pavarotti & Friends, Festivalbar, and Domenica In. Her debut single, "Essensuality", premiered exclusively on Billboard.it, establishing an artist who has always chosen substance over noise.

After seven years away from releasing music, Mulder returns with *WoWo Project*—a body of work rooted in real musicianship, songs that stand without production, and a voice that carries weight rather than gimmick. Lead single *WoWo (Wonderful Woman)* draws inspiration from Maya Angelou’s *Phenomenal Woman*, celebrating resilience and self-possession through the soul, gospel and hip-hop lineage that defines Mulder’s artistry.

Produced by Raffaele Scogna, and brought to life by a seasoned live band: Lucio Mastroianni (guitar), Bernardino Ponzani (drums), Angelo Nobili (bass) and Ettore Merabilia (keys).

This is not a comeback. This is an arrival.

Phenomenal. Powerful. Unstoppable.
