Ary Mass popped at the surface of the indie-folk scene of Montreal in 2026, after too many years spent behind the curtains. His acoustic guitar and expressive voice, freed from solitary practice, deliver a rich blend of intimate melancholy and evocative storytelling. 

While testing the waters in small audiences in town, building experience and community, Ary Mass polished and recorded his debut album, in studio, set to release in summer 2026. Humble arrangements on lush melodies plant the seeds of an exploratory journey that has only begun. 

My Kind Of Homesick (Back Home For Now) is the first sample of the forthcoming album. It’s a folk power tune with a catchy sing-along, about trying to cling to someone else’s dream, about love in discomfort.
