Uzimoto has been collecting fragments and pieces of audible work for nearly a decade. He kept some of his minimal-pop gems in his head, while others were captured on portable recorders or saved as phone recordings following bike rides across Berlin or jaunts up staircases. Formerly a member of too many this-and-that music groups (band names will be added here in brackets)—punk bands that never rested for too long on their laurels. These roots in DIY music coalesced around this oddball’s coming-of-age musical journey, embroidering skin and tendons to reveal their true self, a boundary-free freak-beat hit-machine.
