Born and raised in New Caledonia (South Pacific Island), Jason Mist developed a deep love and connexion with the Hawaiian slide guitar (Weissenborn) when he was 16.

Nowadays, he explores the frontiers of this instrument though his own blend of Folk, Blues, Rock and World Music. 
Heavily influenced by the traditional music of his native island, Jason modernises these so called 'roots' genres, resulting in a unique sound that is both rooted in tradition and forward thinking.
