Luz da Lua

After the illuminations of the first album, Luz Da Lua invites us into a flamboyant twilight of six tracks that are certainly short, but long in the mouth like a Havana cigar. An album tinged with deep bliss in which the weary world rests and takes stock of its humanity, tracking the jolts of simple joy and golden light that gives wings. The riffs are spring-like, the Latin evocations and the sober and mastered virtuosity. Lots of space, dense words and memorial melodies. Sun and fun, this Twilight. André Klénès (Double bass and compositions) by a big fluid and lavish sound, one of the best there is, offers a setting for the ensemble where the melodies and the improvisation agree like the fresh mint leaf in the mojito. The nimble and acrobatic guitar of Adrien Brogna paints the picture with the warm metal of the strings in a reassuring clear line that makes the artist a master of his instrument. The duo hits the mark and joins, here and there, the presence of Stephan Pougin on percussion and Antoine Dawans on trumpet and fumelhorn to raise the sound ensemble to the zenith of the genre. Two covers (Carlos Gardel and Keith Jarrett) generously punctuate the walk.Label website
