Contorsion

Contorsion, a Swiss thrash metal band, came to life in 2004 through the creative minds of Marc Torretti and Mättu Eschmann. With the addition of various talented members, the band began to take shape, delivering explosive performances and sharing stages with notable bands. They released their first album, "Solace Through Lies", in 2010, followed by "Planet Parasite" and “U.Z.N.”, and their EP, “Thrash Metal Domination”.

Despite changes in their lineup, Contorsion remained committed to their core thrash metal sound. Bassist Ralf Luz, who joined in 2020, helped to deepen their musical resonance. Their upcoming EP, "The Children of The Snake", is a testament to their imaginative storytelling, exploring a variety of themes from nightmarish tales to personal stories of betrayal.

Due for release in September 2023, Contorsion plans to continue their musical journey with unwavering passion. Resilient through all changes and challenges, Contorsion aims to keep the spirit of thrash metal alive and their fan base entertained. Their commitment to producing new music and performing electrifying live shows cements their place in the thrash metal scene.
