Kalpetrane

Inspired by bands like Talking Heads, L'Impératrice and Nu Genea, the Swiss-based band Kalpetrane get people moving with their New Wave and Disco infused sound. Trying to find their own way within the possibilities these genres offer, the six young musicians combine dancable grooves with driven guitars, spacey synths and catchy hooks. Their music is currently playing on various Swiss radios, including Option Musique, Couleur 3 and Kanal K. 

During the past year, the band has recorded their first EP in collaboration with the Swiss musician and producer Grégoire Pasquier (aka Shuttle). Together with him, Kalpetrane continued to develop their style. The musicians devote themselves to more serious tones on "Heartbleed". The band's new sound is sometimes melancholic, often gloomy, but always danceable!
