Trying to escape a dull and deceiving reality, Søren Lake creates a world smoldering with emotions, where opposites unite to make life shine brighter. By diving deep into it, she invites others to reconnect with their inner truth, looking for everything that makes their hearts beat faster.
Søren is a self taught singer and guitarist. She started writing Folk songs alone, when she was living in San Francisco and then in London, playing in bars and small venues.
Back in Paris, inspired by Agnes Obel, Tori Amos and Lykee Li, to name a few, she started to work in different musical projects which enriched her own style.
Feeling the need to work alone again, she moved to a remote place in the countryside to reconnect and align with her purpose.
It’s in this peaceful and quiet environment that the songs of her upcoming album were written, digging in the truest and most vulnerable part of herself.
In February 2021 she moved to Lille, a city in the North of France, to take bigger steps toward her music.
